MEL HOPKINS, MEDIA MARKETING STRATEGIST

Mel Hopkins is a Marketing Strategist skilled in communications and media programming and content development. Hopkins has more than 15 years experience in the areas of broadcast/print journalism, marketing communications, creative and technical writing. Before launching The LeadStory Strategic Media Marketing, Hopkins held several marketing and communications positions in finance, trade publishing, nonprofit and broadcast media.

Hopkins is a proven strategic and creative thinker with keen observational skills and analytical prowess. She is an expert at establishing a favorable market position for clients through communications projects created and executed. Hopkins assists clients with developing and communicating organizational or individual message to target audiences through selected media. She specializes in media arts and communications working mostly with other litterateurs, telecommunications experts, E-commerce specialists, web site designers and graphic artists.

J. WEBBER, EXECUTIVE EDITOR

J. Webber is an academic scholar whose career and education rest on a foundation of English literature, writing and editing. Webber firmly believes that without creative writing, people are at a lost for communication and artistic expression. “Today, people don’t nearly read as much as they did in the past. They never seem to find time, or don’t want to spare the time. When I do find people reading, it’s only objective material, such as textbooks. Creative and abstract thinking are falling by the wayside.”

  Webber holds both Bachelor and Associates degrees in English from the College of DuPage (Glen Ellyn, Illinois) and the University of Illinois at Chicago (Chicago, Illinois), respectively. During her collegiate career, Webber received several honors. She was inducted into Phi Theta Kappa, an honor society for two-year schools, inducted into The National Dean’s List three consecutive years (2004/2005, 2005/2006 2007/2008), and received several academic scholarships. Jade expects to attend law school in Fall 2008.
